サマーキャンプ：「スペイン語で話そう！」五感を探る

You use them every day to get to know and understand the world around you. What are they? Your senses!

Learning the five senses helps children better explore the world around them. This high energy class will help learners gain a better understanding of sight, hearing, touch, taste, and smell, en EspaÑOl! 
In this class, students will be able to name the five senses, the body parts associated with each sense and identify several vocabulary words describing the five senses. Students will have the opportunity to demonstrate all four components of language: listening, speaking, reading, and writing in order to be able to communicate in an effective manner. I will be using a presentation, pictures, songs, objects, and role play, to help students internalize and communicate in Spanish. We will begin class in English to get rid of those jitters that some of us might have and to go over class expectations. We will then quickly dive in and speak Spanish for the remainder of the class. 

The five senses in Spanish are:
JULY 1 - vista (sight)
JULY 8 - olfato (smell)
JULY 15 - oído (hear)
JULY 22 - tacto (touch/feel)
JULY 29 - gusto (taste)
