夏期初心者スペイン語レッスン II

Students will be taught beginner Spanish. This continuation Spanish beginner summer course, students will learn how to pronounce in Spanish numbers 10-100, words and phrases for foods and drinks, and how to tell time in Spanish. Classroom sessions hold no more than three students at a time so that each student will be given an opportunity to participate as much as possible during class. Class is structured virtually via Zoom meetings and students will follow along with me on a shared PowerPoint. I will begin teaching Spanish with a fun icebreaker. Then we will sing a short song about the lesson we will be learning and then we will go through each slide by learning a new Spanish word and repeating the new learned word. Before the lesson ends there will be a quick review where each student will be questioned how to pronounce the new learned Spanish word. After every session each student will be provided with a pdf version of study materials that we went over in our lesson. My teaching style involves a natural style of learning through reading, singing, and comprehension. I teach pronunciation first and then focus on the pronunciation of accents and stress marks in words and finally I work with students on verb conjugations. I also encourage my students to respond in Spanish to help them practice speaking the Spanish language. Throughout the lesson learners will interact directly with me through the lesson. My PowerPoint slides will have embedded sing along videos as well as games that will enable students to engage in the lesson. This is a beginner Spanish class and there is no required experience or knowledge to enroll in this course.
Week one: Students will learn how to pronounce numbers 10-100 in Spanish and will learn the Spanish calendar (days of the week in Spanish).
Week two: Students will review pronunciation of numbers 10-100 in Spanish and will learn Spanish words for food and drinks. (how to order at a restaurant).
Week three: Students will review how to order at a restaurant in Spanish and will learn how how to pronounce money in Spanish. 
Week four: Students will learn how to tell time in Spanish.
