Beginners will learn all the basics of the piano, including:
-posture, finger numbers, keyboard geography
-playing with chords
-playing many songs
-rhythm development
-reading music on the treble and bass clef
-many theory concepts including key signatures, time signatures, note values, scales, etc.

More advanced students will also learn:
-scales, chords, inversions, cadences
-reading chord charts
-reading lead sheets
-improvisation
-playing by ear

QUALIFICATIONS  
* Master's degree in Education 
* Minor in Music with Piano emphasis
* 20+ years piano teaching experience
* 20+ years piano performing experience
* Composer of published piano music (https://pianopronto.com/composers-community/robyn-fehrenbacher/)
* 5 years full-time classroom experience
* 4 years online teaching experience 
* 20 years homeschooling mom experience 
* Mrs. Robyn specializes in making lessons fun and motivating for students as well as inspiring them to create their own music, all for a lifetime of enjoyment on the piano!

In order to progress on the piano and be successful, learners will need to play their piano each day (practice time per day will depend on their level) for 5-30 minutes a day, five days a week. 

When younger beginners are first starting out, they will make progress in the first few weeks by simply playing their songs once per day. As they learn more, they will be playing more.

I will always be doing the very best I can to help each student to ENJOY playing and practicing the piano each day!
