In this self paced drawing class, we will read the book Unicorn Day by Diana Murray & Luke Flowers. Then students will learn how to draw a cute unicorn as I demonstrate with step by step instructions. Students will learn how to draw using basic and drawing techniques. This is a great class for beginners and does not require previous experience. Bonus: There will be fun coloring sheets provided for learners too! Please note, there will be NO live meeting for this class. Students can participate in this class on their own schedule. Videos are interactive and students can pause the videos as they draw to learn at their own pace. The book read aloud video is a little over 3 minutes long. And the how to draw a unicorn video is a little over 16 minutes long. Students are encouraged to share their artwork on the class page. Teacher Becky will provide feedback to everyone who shares their work within 24 hours. Students will… - Listen to a fun, colorful book about unicorns - Learn about basic shapes and how to draw them - Practice following direction - Learn from mistakes - Create art and have fun! I strongly believe everyone is creative in some way and I enjoy helping my students to discover that! In my classes, students learn important lessons such as ‘don’t compare yourself to anyone but yourself’. And ‘there is no such thing as a mistake as long as you learn from it’. They learn they can do hard things, give themselves permission to take their time, and most of all - have fun! These motto’s help learners to gain confidence in themselves as they discover and grow their talents and creativity.
