In this one time class, students will explore multiple math strategies using story problems while interacting with their peers. Students will be given multiple story problems in class, based on the topics of Multi digit addition and subtraction, multiplication and division, area and perimeter, and fractions. Students will work the story problems on their own, and then we will spend time sharing our strategies with the class.
