WHAT WILL BE TAUGHT? 
Each student's lessons are tailored to the individual and lesson content may vary each week based on student progress and pacing of lessons.  

TOPICS WE MAY COVER 
Piano basics (posture, positioning, note names, listening)
Piano Technique -Lessons are unique to each student's level, experience and abilities Theory
Ear training
Artistry 

WHAT WILL I NEED FOR CLASS? 
An electric piano (Casio or Yamaha brand), with 88 weighted keys is recommended. 
*Music books will be suggested for individual students after meeting with the student. 

YOUR EXPERIENCE 
Young pianist will experience a positive and nurturing lesson with a very caring and patient teaching artist. 

Young musicians will study with a Professional Teaching Artists who has a great depth of experience both as educators and professional performers and who specialize in teaching young children. 

Musicians who study music have the opportunity to grow in many areas beyond musical skill. We cultivate this experience with private lessons tailored to each individual centered around goals and learning styles while group lessons are designed to provide entry level education while cultivating a love of music. High quality and engaging lessons are at the center of our philosophy. 

Those who study music have shown cognitive benefits such as showing a better working memory abilities, greater creativity and some studies even show an increase in IQ scores among children in music lessons versus those who do not have music lessons.
