This will be an experimental class where students use their creativity and experience the properties of water. Students will observe and we will discuss why and how the outcomes are possible. Students will make predictions, be amazed, their mindset will shift, and both discussion and thinking will be dynamic. Students will receive feedback and encouragement during the class. 1 gallon sized zipping plastic storage bag filled 1/3 of way with water 5-7 newly sharpened wooden, not mechanical pencils water beads at least 50, no more than 100 bowl of water ruler with mm 4-6 mason jars - we will fill with water - at least 12 oz jars two bamboo skewers or metal spoons Food coloring Dish soap 1/2 tsp of black pepper shallow round baking dish or bowl pitcher of water to use for experiments
