Prerequisites 

 Students need to be fluent in :  Positive and negative numbers.
                                                   Be able to solve equations with variables on both sides.
                                                   Ideally have taken Geometry Essentials.(Not mandatory)
                                                                       

  NOTE:     Students must have a reasonable amount of academic maturity to enroll.

                  Class can be taken as a stand alone class.
 
               (Part 1 not needed if learner is familiar with the material)

                 Teacher reserves the right to adjust curriculum as needed.

       NOTE: If no one shows after 10 minutes, class is cancelled. 
                   No makeups, no refunds, no exceptions.     

The way I teach this skill is very easy to learn and your child will be prepared for success in geometry.They will learn  by actually doing example exercises during class. I will repeat with another exercise and will explain as many times as needed until the students are ready to do the exercises by themselves. Once started, I will check their answers for accuracy and follow up with any necessary explanations. I encourage all participants to try as many exercises as possible. I follow up the class with an upload of homework with the solutions.

                  Week 1:

                  Week 2:
                                   Using similar polygons
                                   Similar triangles
                                   Similar right triangles 

                 Week 3:
                                 The Exterior Angle Theorem        
                                 Triangles and congruence
                                 SSS and SAS congruence 
               Week 4:
                               ASA and AAS congruence
                               SSS, SAS, ASA, and AAS congruences combined.

               Week 5:
                             Right triangle congruence      
                             Isosceles and equilateral triangles
               Week 6:
                            Introduction to polygons
                            Polygons and angles
                            Areas of regular polygons

                 Week 7:  
                          Identifying solid figures
                          Volume of prisms and cylinders
                           Surface area of prisms and cylinders
                Week8:
                           Spheres( Volume &  Surface Area)
