This is a typical preschool circle time designed for children with all abilities. This class is different from my Preschool Special Education Circle Time- Music & Thematic class in that the lesson is based more on Preschool academic skills. Skills covered include such as Letters, Numbers, Counting, Writing, Science, and more. Special attention will be focused on each child's individual needs. Class sizes are small, allowing for direct attention to each child and their individual needs....
I have a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education and Bachelor's Degree in Elementary and Special Education. I have worked with children with Autism, Down Syndrome, Multiple Disabilities, Learning Disabilities, Hearing Disabilities, and more. I have taught special education classes for 8 years. I have an additional 8 years of teaching experience in public and private schools.
Parents are encouraged to monitor and observe their child during the class to ensure students are actively engaged. Please feel free to contact me to discuss the individualized needs of your child.
