このクラスは 英語で教えられます。

The students will practice their Spanish using different scenarios that will push them to practice a little bit out of their comfort zone. They will have to come up with conversations in real time without a lot of time to prepare. We will review tenses, grammar, and vocabulary as it becomes relevant for each particular topic. 

The goal is to acquire confidence speaking in a foreign language without much preparation. We will review the conversations and point out ways for improvement and discussions questions related to grammar, tenses, and vocabulary.

In my personal experience as a teacher and former student, I have found that language classes don't focus enough on giving the students the opportunity to speak. There is no way you will master a language without putting yourself out there and trying to converse. 
I have several years of experience teaching Spanish to people from many different background, ages, and levels. I truly enjoy teaching my students not only to speak Spanish but gain confidence and feel comfortable expressing themselves in a foreign language.

The students will review the conversations, grammar, and vocabulary for the class. The homework should take between 15 to 30 minutes. The students are always welcome to reach to me if they have any questions about any of the topics discussed during the class.

The class will use a shared word document that I create and send to the students after the class.  I use this word document to share the readings, questions, and exercises with which we will work. This saves time by permitting us to engage and share notes in real time, as well as enabling the students to keep the materials at the end of the class (as a pdf file that I attach to the Outschool classroom AT THE END of every class).
