Welcome to Spanish Year 3 Semester 2 Pre-requisite: Spanish Year 3 Semester 1 or Spanish knowledge of colors, numbers 1-100, shapes, emotions, greetings , body parts , directions , "the" in Spanish, directions, wild animals, school, seasons, and days of the week. Students will learn correct pronunciation, reading skills, vocabulary, and practical conversation. In the first unit, students learn correct Spanish pronunciation. After that, each vocabulary unit introduces a set of new words with a song that incorporates American Sign Language, reinforces those words with games and activities, and closes with a set of Q&A that gives the new vocabulary context and meaning. Topics in this session will include: * Review of previews topics *Math using numbers up to 1,000,000. *Occupations *Verb "To be" *Clothes *Farm Animals *Skit Picasso *Review *Questions & Answers: 1)Do you want.....? Hola amigos! I am a Spanish language and literature Credentialed teacher with 20+ years of experience teaching and designing classes for K-12th grade students. I am also a native Spanish teacher who has lived in a Spanish speaking country for over 18 years. I have taught ASL, English and Spanish as a second language online for 3 years. Even though I have made homeschooling and raising my children my priority, I have a true passion for learning, teaching, and working with children and continue doing it on a part-time basis.
