このクラスで学べること
In this show and tell class, learners will have the chance to share their skills and talents with their peers! Whether it's singing, dancing, acting, drawing, or playing a musical instrument, this class welcomes all talent! Learners will have the opportunity to introduce themselves and share what their talents/skills are. I want each learner to share: - what got them into their talent/skill - why they like doing their specific talent/skill - how long have they been doing that talent/skill - what their future goals are with this talent/skill This is a place where students are encouraged to freely talk about what they love doing in an environment that is respectful and supportive. This will help students become more comfortable and open up about themselves. I believe that when students talk about what they are passionate about they become more confident in front of an audience. I will be sharing some of my talents with the class as well. This class will allow learners to practice and improve their presentation skills, speaking skills, social skills, and communication skills. Learners are encouraged to bring anything to the class that can help them show off their talents (e.g., pictures, videos, objects).

Hello, my name is Roxanne!
I have been teaching for over 4 years now. I was an occupational teacher for 6th graders for 2 years. I was a teacher's assistant for high school students for 2 years. I have taught dance for over 4 years. Also, I am currently an online english teacher for children in China.
I believe that when classes are fun, relatable, interactive, and creative students are more willing to learn. Knowing that I can help others learn something new everyday is so fulfilling to me. My philosophy is if students put in the work and effort they can get good results in ANYTHING they put their mind into.
I have been a dancer for over 17 years. I know all kinds of dances such as, ballroom, contemporary, hiphop, modern and latin dancing. Dancing is a fantastic way to express ourselves using our bodies and music. Being a dancer has taught me to never give up and to always chase my dreams. That is exactly what I want my students to learn. I would love to teach dance to anyone who would like to develop their dancing skills!
Aside from dancing, I love to sing and play the guitar. My family has always been able to play musical instruments. We also have many karaoke nights with our portable karaoke machine. I grew up with a lot of music in the house and I am SO lucky and grateful for that! :)レビュー
