Learning takes place subconsciously each day and this course will be no different. Within this introductory course, students show an item(s) that they have selected and tell the class all about it. This activity builds speech and effective communication. These are two crucial skills that several students struggle with as they move throughout school. My goal is to assist each student with being comfortable in using clear communication tactics to speak in class.

I am an educator and mommy to a wonderful and energetic three year old. I began working with him on language and effective speaking formats since before he could talk. When he speaks now, he communicates in full sentences to get his point across for how he is feeling or what he wants at any particular time. It is very important to instill the value of communication in young learners at an early age so that they know how to develop their thoughts in clear fashion. What better way to do this than to have them speak about an item that excites them!
