"Three hags circle a bubbling cauldron, a mischievous fairy spreads chaos in the forest, the ghost of a dead king rises from the mist, and a powerful conjurer summons storms with his spellbook and staff. The worlds of Dungeons & Dragons and the worlds within Shakespeare’s plays share many similarities. This campaign will bring the two together as players set out on a one-of-a-kind adventure. Covering the mechanics of D&D 5th Edition and the works of the Bard, students will learn the fundamentals of character creation, game play rules, battle maneuvers, and cooperative role-play. Each module is crafted to incorporate a specific Shakespearean play including A Midsummer Night's Dream, Macbeth, The Tempest, and more. Along with finding treasure, facing monsters, and developing their unique player character, the party will come face to face with classic Shakespearean characters, scenes, conflicts, and themes. Will players ally with the fairy Queen Titania, get lost in the Forest of Arden, learn magical secrets from the wizard Prospero, or give their own rousing St. Crispin’s day speech before charging into battle? It’s all open to possibility as they explore this Shakespearean inspired setting with their own unique D&D party." *Learner Dictated Campaign* D&D Classroom Rules By signing up for this class/D&D campaign you agree to the rules. Any rule breaking can result in learners getting put into the waiting room to reread the rules. These rules are in addition to all Outschool rules. Mission Statement: This is a cooperative RPG.
