Lesson 1
4 Types of Sentences 
This lesson reviews the 4 types of sentences (declarative, interrogative, imperative, exclamative). Learners will learn the punctation that goes with each type of sentence. Learners will create an interactive notebook page and play games to test their knowledge of the 4 different types.

Parts of Sentences (Subject  & Predicate)
This lesson reviews the two parts of sentences (subject & predicate). Learners will learn how to identify subjects and predicates in  sentences. Learners will create an interactive notebook page and play games to test their knowledge of subjects and predicates.

Lesson 3
Simple Sentences & Sentence Rules 
This lesson covers simple sentences and sentences rules. Learners will create an interactive notebook page and play games to identify sentences that meet all of the rules. 
 Week 4
Lesson 4
Independent and Dependent Clauses 
This lesson covers independent and dependent clauses. Learners will be able to identify independent and dependent clauses. This lesson will help learners better understand the following lessons. Learners will create an interactive notebook page and play games to identify independent and dependent clauses. 
 Week 5
Lesson 5
Compound Sentences 
Learners will put together independent clauses to create compound sentences. Learners will practice using coordinating conjunctions to combine clauses. Learners will create an interactive notebook page and play games to practice putting independent clauses together with conjunctions. 
 Week 6
Lesson 6
Complex Sentences
Learners will put together an independent clause and dependent clause to create complex sentences. Learners will practice using subordinating conjunctions to combine clauses. Learners will create an interactive notebook page and play games to practice creating complex sentences. 
 Week 7
Lesson 7
Compound-Complex Sentences
Learners will practice combining independent clauses and compound sentences to create compound-complex sentences. Learners will practice using subordinating conjunction to combine clauses. Learners will create an interactive notebook page and play games to practice creating compound-complex sentences.
