Week of November 21- Reading Comprehension- We will learn how to determine the order of events. Week of November 28- Reading Comprehension- We will read and discuss two fiction texts. Week of December 5- Reading Comprehension- We will learn about finding the main idea and details. Week of December 12- Writing- Pro/con opinion writing. Week of December 19-Reading Comprehension- We will learn about point of view. (Break for 2 weeks) Week of January 9- Writing- We will write letters about the year ahead. Week of January 16- Reading Comprehension- We will learn about facts and opinions. Week of January 23- Poetry- We will read and write limericks. Week of January 29- Reading- We will work on making inferences and drawing conclusions. Week of February 5- Writing- We will write procedural paragraphs.
