Students will spend 10 weeks planning each aspect of their photography business. 
This course allows students to consider many different factors that will be important when they begin making money from photography. They will continue to work on photography skills weekly during the entire 4 course sequence. 

Before I began mentoring aspiring and working photographers, I ran a successful photography business in a small town in Pennsylvania. I made many mistakes along the way which helped me develop the training program that I use for mentoring and have adapted for teenagers here on Outschool.

Students can expect to spend 1-3 hours each week working on their photography skills and making decisions for their business. Most of this time will be taking photos and organizing their thoughts on each topic as we proceed through the course. Some students may opt to purchase and read additional suggested texts.
