In this class, your child will learn the skills needed to enter the Second Grade: Math, Social Studies, Language Arts, Poetry, Science,  Reading, Writing, and Art.  We will have "Show and Tell" every Friday. This class meets 5 times a week at the same time each day to help jumpstart your learner for a lifetime of learning. 

This class is taught by an experienced and certified K-12 teacher and I have also taught college level courses.

I will send learners fun activities to complete outside of class to practice what they have learned.  This may include, but not limited to  math worksheets, handwriting practice, writing assignments coloring pages, geography worksheets, science worksheets, song lists, and short stories.

Learners are assessed through group interaction and participation.

We will refer to world maps, Smithsonian Magazine, ABCya!, Spelling City, and Scratch for math games at several times over the course of this class.
