However word problems are usually the most difficult for children to master! You need to be able to read accurately, understand the question asked with the information given, and then complete the proper math equation to solve. In this class we will practice solving math word problems that align with second grade Common Core standards....

I have been a classroom general education teacher for 5 years to heterogeneous groups of students with varying abilities. I have also taught RTI small group lessons on math strategies and concepts throughout an entire grade level. Currently, I am also homeschooling and tutoring students through second grade math.
