US Grade 2
⭐️Welcome to Second Grade Full Homeschool Curriculum (3X/Week)! This supplemental 2nd grade homeschool class covers topics including "ou & ow" sounds, nouns, verbs, addition and subtraction to 20. This is a fun, supportive learning environment where tough concepts become easy, students build confidence, and parents stay updated—helping students grow personally and academically. Watch my class video to the end for a special promo code. This is a structured class. Other activities are arts & crafts, games, and show & tell for social interaction. This is a great class for 2nd grade students of all levels and abilities. This class is ESL friendly and good for advanced 1st graders. Parental Guidance
Blooket (In Class) - We use Blooket during class, either through screen sharing or students can join the game on their own device.
Didax (In Class) - Didax (In Class) - We will use the Didax virtual math manipulatives during lessons through screen sharing. Students can interact with the math tools using the remote control or annotate feature.
PhET (In Class) - Students can interact with the virtual science experiments using the remote control feature.
Hoopla (In Class) - Students will read virtual e-books through screen-sharing, taking turns to read aloud.
Supply List
You're welcome to print the optional worksheets before class. Students can also use blank paper or a notebook. Please make sure your student has a pencil pouch close by that contains: ‣Pencils ‣Erasers ‣Coloring supplies (crayons, markers, colored pencils) ‣Scissor ‣Glue/glue stick. Please make sure your student has a folder for their work. One side can hold blank paper or worksheets. The other side can be for finished work.

I have my Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota with a minor in Teaching English as a Second Language.
I have 6 years of experience teaching Pre-K to 2nd grade. I have been teaching on Outschool since August 2021, creating interactive lessons that address learning gaps. I taught STEAM enrichment classes for Pre-K to middle school, and taught special needs students in my local school district this past school year.
I was also selected to represent Outschool as an Outschool Ambassador at a state Homeschool Expo in May 2024.
