Join us for a science adventure exploring the planets and stars through hands-on and engaging activities! We will be covering important 1st-grade science standards while learning about the world around us! In this 2 week course, we will meet twice a week for 30 minutes. Students will learn about the Planets & Stars. Day 1 & Day 2 - The Planets: Planet names, order, and facts Day 3 & Day 4 - Stars: What are stars? Famous Constellations Together we will learn through movement, discussions, and experiments. (Maybe getting a little messy at times.....because that's the fun part!) This will be a fun and engaging science class with new friends. No prior knowledge is needed! Next up! - Machines - Five Senses - Forces

Hello! My name is Brigitta Voss. I have a passion for kids, teaching, and living a healthy life. I have a degree in Child & Adolescent Development, a teaching credential for elementary education, as well as TESOL and TEFL certifications. I have been an educator for 20 years in many capacities. From school classrooms, online classrooms, and to the outdoors, I have enjoyed inspiring and teaching students of all ages. I would like to help your child become a lifelong learner by creating fun and engaging classes. It is important for me to create a classroom where students feel comfortable taking risks and participating. This will help each and every student make progress and reach their own goals.
I am also a wife, mother of 2, athlete, and coach. In my free time, I love cooking healthy meals, camping, hiking, and mountain biking.
