- Learners will be able to explain how and why extreme earth events happen.
This course will be taught by a UK qualified teacher who has over 15 years experience of teaching children from age 3-11. They hold a BA (Hons) degree in Education which qualifies them to teach all subjects including science. The course overview and resources have been developed by a UK qualified teacher who specialises in educational course design.

Homework
頻度: 含まれるフィードバック: 含まれる詳細: Each lesson, learners will complete an activity together in class as we explore the topic together. They will be given a factfile page to print off which will gradually build up into an encyclopaedia of knowledge. There is also an optional extra activity that can be completed at home to consolidate their learning. Homework will not be marked but can be posted in the classroom to receive comments.
The class is taught by a teacher who is very experienced with children who have learning needs. We ensure that the lessons and worksheets are inclusive. We can also adapt learning materials for specific needs if required.
All materials for each lesson will be posted in the classroom at least 24 hours in advance. Learners should print out the class worksheet and bring it to the lesson so that we can complete it together. They should also have a supply of basic stationary such as paper, pencils, crayons and glue.
The scientific information from the course will be sourced from books that present a factual view of science without any bias and are used in many schools all over the world. The key sources are: - First Science Encyclopaedia (DK Eyewitness Companion Guide) - DK Knowledge Encyclopaedia Science - First Encyclopaedia of Science (Usborne International)
