Each week I will be giving a handout with coloring pages illustrating the fairytale. Each coloring page will also have a new vocabulary spelled in Cyrillic and Latin letters (for better visual memory). The handout will also include a small paper craft with the character from the fairytale. The learner is encouraged to post a video of trying out new vocabulary and using it with the paper actor. The student also needs to post a short video of them re-telling the story in their own words. They can use the paper theater actors if they want to. I will be checking each video and correcting the pronunciation. I will be cheering and encouraging the student, and other students are welcome to cheer for their classmates!テスト

Albert Einstein once said : “If you want your children to be intelligent, read them fairy tales. If you want them to be more intelligent, read them more fairy tales.” This is 6 week Course . There is NO LIVE MEETINGS. I will be reading Traditional Folk Russian Fairytales and showing paper and felt theater. I will be telling the stories in Russian language and translating into English, while showing the illustrations. I will be explaining what is going on and will be asking questions that will help the child to grasp the idea of the story overall and guess the meaning of particular words on their own. Week 1: - “Красная Шапочка” - “Теромок” -Learning body parts ( flashcards included) -Remembering the counting (handout included) -A theme based dance and a song. Paper theater for home performance is included in the handout. Week 2: -“Goosi Lebedi” (Гуси Лебеди) Paper theater for home performance is included in the handout. -Paper theater for home performance is included in the handout. - Story Time: “Тараканище» -Story and song with the dance “Кузнечик» -Learning Insects names in Russian -Speech development and language learning activation finger excercises. Week 3: -“Zayoushkeanah Easbooshkah” (Заюшкина Избушка). A story about a fox and a rabbit. Paper theater for home performance is included in the handout. -The videos also include finger exercise for speech development and enrichment. - A song about the fox - Story Time: “Краденое Солнце» - Learning Seasons vocabulary Week 4: - “Sehrehbryanohyeh Kahpitseh” (Серебряное Копытце) A magical story about a girl and a wild deer. - Paper theater for home performance is included in the handout. - Learning names of animals that live in the forest. - Learning animal body parts. A paper craft is included. - Finger exercises included - A new dance with song about animals - A story time with various animals Week 5: - “Koorochkah Ryabah” (Курочка Ряба) A simple story with a great moral. - Masks for home theater performance are included in the handout. - Learning animals on the farm - Learning activities people do on a farm - New finger exercises for the week - A new dance and song about ducklings - Story Time with farm animals. Week 6: -“Kohlohbohk” (Колобок) A simple and great story that helps to memorize some new vocabulary easier. -Paper theater for home performance is included in the handout. -Different traditional Russian foods explained -A pancake game instructions video and handout - Story Time with traditional food that is played in shadow box theater. -Shadow box theater instructions video and handout

Hi, My name is Vlada and I teach Russian language from US.
I was born and Russia and spend half of my life in there. I have gotten classical education in one of the oldest European Universities in Russia.
I have lived in US for 15 years and I love teaching Russian to my students.
I come from a family of teachers and early childhood educators.I would love to share my methods of teaching the Russian language to kids through play, fun and association.
