Students will understand a new element in regards to playing Dungeons and Dragons. Students will be introduced to the mechanics of roleplay in Dungeons and Dragons to understand how to act in character better. Students will build on communication skills through the use of a variety of characters to see how interactions work or do not work. Students will practice and apply the mechanics of roleplay in quick-situation scenarios to build comfort level in acting and impromptu speaking.
Notebook, pen/pencil, quiet environment, microphone, headphones, and the materials posted in the classroom, such as the powerpoint, roleplay guide, and created characters used for practice.
