This class offers a fun opportunity for students to meet new friends while playing Roblox and improve their socialization skills. Students will... - play a variety of Roblox games. - socialize and meet new friends. - share their Roblox username with the class. ***Learners will need to a have a Roblox account prior to attending class to participate. If you'd like to send your learners username before class, please do so in a private message. For the safety of your learner, please do not put usernames in the classroom discussion board. If your learner needs help learning how to play Roblox, I would be happy to do a private one on one session with your learner. *** Miss Toni will play with students and monitor the game closely. Every game will be played on a private server. Students may use another device (i.e. Xbox, I pad, a different laptop or a cellphone) to play Roblox. Every student is required to stay on Zoom during class. I have a strict NO BULLYING rule. I think that it is extremely important for learners to have a safe space free from bullying and judgment. I expect learners to respect each other and be kind to their classmates at all times. I will not tolerate bullying in any form. However, I will give students a chance to correct their behavior. Below is a list of steps that I will take when unkind behavior is witnessed or heard. 1. Warning, Ex: I will remind the student that in my class, we must be kind to each other at all times. 2. I will put the student in the waiting room or a break out room and send a message or speak to them emphasizing the importance of being kind and warn that the next time that I have to speak to him/her/them, I will have to remove him/her/them. I will then, allow them to return to class and give a chance to change the behavior. 3. Removal from class ( there will be no refund or transfer to another class)

Students will need a Roblox account to participate. Students will be required to share their Roblox Username. Every game will be played on a private server. Miss Brandy will monitor gameplay for anything inappropriate.

Miss Brandy created Miss Brandy's Fun and Learning Academy to provide a safe, welcoming space where kids can learn, play, and connect. As a mom, she understands the importance of giving children outlets to interact with their peers and develop essential social skills. Driven by her passion for teaching, Miss Brandy set out to build an academy that blends fun with learning, using a teaching style that empowers students to come to class confident they can be themselves without judgment. Over the years, she has been fortunate to teach students from around the world, with diverse backgrounds and learning abilities, all of whom have shaped and enriched her approach.
