Hello! My name is Casey and it is so nice to meet you! 

Your student will have fun learning with me in my calm, encouraging and engaging classroom!  I will be teaching art classes, social clubs, Roblox, ESL, preschool and book clubs.  Learners are always encouraged to ask questions and participate in my classes, and laughing is almost always guaranteed.  

I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in Art History and Drawing.  I have several years teaching and tutoring experience of students ages 2 to 70+ in a wide variety of subjects such as art, math, Spanish and ESL. 

I am a certified yoga instructor and am very calm and relaxed.  I laugh a lot and like to make others laugh, which is probably why I was voted Class Clown in high school. I have taught over 1000 ESL (English as a Second Language Classes) in the last year which mostly consists of making small talk, so I am an Official Small Talk Expert and can get anyone to chat with me.  When I was a kid, I was very shy (until the those "Class Clown" years), so I can relate to introverted and extroverted students.  Students tell me that I put them at ease, that I make learning fun, and that they can be themselves in my class.

When I am not teaching, I love reading and spending time with my family.  I enjoy YA novels and mystery, as well as non-fiction history and science books. I have three girls under the age of 14, a Boston Terrier, two snails and a betta.  I also have too many houseplants, but can usually still find room for one more.  I enjoy all sorts of arts and crafts and practicing yoga.

All of my classes are ESL friendly.  All of my classes can be offered as 1:1 classes.  If you don't see a time that works for you, send me a request and I will do my best to accommodate your schedule.
