Hello! My name is Patrick Tibble and I teach courses that focus on Software Development for Mobile Apps and Games. 

Mobile App Development Courses

For mobile apps, we'll focus on the C# programming language and use Visual Studio for development. We'll be learning how to design, write, and test Cross-Platform Mobile Apps using Xamarin and Xamarin.Forms! 

Roblox Game Development Courses
==================================
For games, we'll focus on the Lua scripting language and use Roblox Studio for development. We'll be learning how to design, build, and script Roblox games!

My Background
==================================
I have an Associates in Science (2013) and a Bachelor's of Science: Computer Science (2015). I've been working in the mobile app industry since 2013. I have worked on all sorts of mobile apps, ranging from the healthcare world to the banking world. When I'm not working, I'm still doing what I love: Writing Code. I have created 2 games in Roblox that are public and playable today. I have gained a magnitude of knowledge and experience in both Mobile App and Roblox Game development, and now I want to teach you or your learner!

My Teaching Philosophy

Getting into software development always seems overwhelming. My philosophy is to break all subjects into Bite-Sized Learnings and create analogies to make unknown concepts relatable. Understanding the fundamentals gives the learner a foundation to build upon! 

Software is written using a coding language. Coding languages are similar to an oral language. The syntax (dialect) will vary between coding languages, but the words and meanings remain the same. 

Something Fun and Personal

After high school (and before college), I joined the United States Marine Corps. I served one 4-year term from 2006-2010! I got to meet a lot of great people and travel all around the world.
