Students will get together to play Dress to Impress in the teacher's private server. Parents can be assured that only class members will be allowed in the game (usernames will be deleted in the game if your student has not signed up for the next week's class.  This ensures that only members of the class are in the private server each week.  

During the beginning of class, we will discuss internet safety, appropriate screen time, how to report cyber-bullying, and safety tips when it comes to accepting friend requests.  I will also do a "roll-call" to ensure everyone has received a friend request from me and then we will all enter the game together.  Every student must have their camera on at the beginning of class to verify each student is indeed a student.   Then we will enter the private server where students can play Dress to Impress while sharing tips and tricks, as well as share their other favorite games.  

Students are strongly encouraged to keep the environment clean and fun and reminded to not talk over others.  If students are found to be rude or disrespectful, they will be warned once and then removed from the class.  Any type of violence or profanities from a student will have the student removed immediately.  

When necessary, I will mute all students so they can hear instructions or directions for the game...but they will still be able to use the chat system within the game to talk to one another. 

Upon enrollment, students will need to have their own Roblox account created and send me their username and gamer tag via private message (if they share it in the classroom it will be deleted).  Once those are received, I will send each student a friend request (my username is: TeacherMonika). 

To join the private server:  Go under "Games" - "Royale High" - Click on the "Servers" tab and then look for my server "Teacher Monika" and click to join.  Please note that you cannot transport to a friend on a private server, you can only transport to a place within the game. 

**Please note that students will need a second device to play the game. This will ensure that they are connected in the Outschool classroom.**
