RobloxStudio We will open Roblox Studio and learn what each of the windows can do to help us. We will learn to change colors and add parts to an obstacle course. We can practice duplicating different parts of the obstacle course complete with a few tricks like a fake floor. We can set our spawn point and code different jumps in our game. Don't fall in the lava! At the end of class, learn some tricks and tips to make coding even easier. Roblox Gaming Students will play Roblox with other Roblox Gamers. Students will need to share their Roblox player names with the teacher. A Roblox account should already be created and installed on their playing device. If you are new to Roblox I offer an introduction to Roblox FLEX class to help get you started. YouTube We will develop the YouTube channel basics including profile, descriptions, and target audience. We will discuss different tools of the trade and how they can help us. If students already have an account we will research trends within our target genre, define our video title, and create a video based on them. OBS software (free version is okay). If the student is already familiar with a similar recording program like CamStudio or ManyCam, they can use it instead.

Students will enjoy a trial of the Outschool Pods class. They will have the foundation to help them create a YouTube Channel for their Roblox gaming videos. Students will also be able to create their own Roblox Games and play Roblox games.

Roblox, Youtube and OBS can be used by children of any age. Children under the age of 13 should be directly supervised by a parent, guardian, or another authorized adult (such as a teacher) who agrees to be bound by our Terms of Use.
