Reading and Letters: Beginning sounds, ending sounds, short and long vowel words, word families, blends, digraphs etc. Science: My Body, food, animals, weather, physical science, natural science and so much more! Math: Shapes, counting, order, tally, measurement, addition and subtraction, greater gator, comparison etc. Me and My World: needs vs wants, animal habitats, left vs right, transportation, manners, emotions, maps etc. Art: Fine motor incorporation through art! Playdough, watercolor, drawing, coloring with markers, cut and paste etc. Writing: Copywork with modifications for both beginner and advanced writers!

A paper and pencil is just fine but the kids love drawing on whiteboards! Also, a school box with scissors, drawing paper, pencil, watercolors, markers, crayons, playdough, glue and tape will be used often. Thick paint (only on occasion, teacher will let parents know ahead of time).
