このクラスで学べること
In this class we will be learning the skills on how to sound out the sounds in a word and them blend them in order to read. Students will be practicing with CVC words (consonant, vowel, consonant). For example, "hat" , "mat", "rag". I will review the letter sounds we will be working with. I will model the correct blending technique, we will practice together through engaging activities and then they will do it independently. The purpose is for them to be able to apply this skill on their own and begin to read CVC words with other sounds they already know.
