Hello! In this class, students will learn reading and writing skills! Each week, we will read a short passage or book! Then, I will teach a mini lesson about a reading skill that can be applied to the reading! Next, we will write, either about the reading or about another topic! Students will enjoy learning reading and writing in this individual tutoring class! Students will practice fluency and comprehension and writing in each class! As this is an individual class, specific class topics will vary depending on the student and family!

Week of May 29: Retelling
Week of June 5: Predicting
Week of June 12: Ask questions
Week of June 17: Make, revise, confirm predictions
