In this class, we will begin by making a pH indicator. Then, I will give a brief review of pH and protein structure using PowerPoint slides. When our pH indicator is ready, we will determine whether our reagents are acidic, basic, or neutral. Next, we will determine how the egg white (high in the protein albumin) reacts with the reagents we previously tested for pH.
