****Holiday Breaks**** Fall/Thanksgiving Break: There will be no classes from Nov 19th-25th Winter Break: Winter Break begins on Dec 24th. Classes resume on Tuesday, January 2nd. ******* Hello friends! This course is designed to effectively teach phonics and reading skills. I incorporate games and interactive activities to keep students engaged. Depending on where your child is, we will cover letter sounds, cvc words, long and short vowels, blends, digraphs, high-frequency words, syllables, and reading strategies, etc. **Since this is a one-time class, please be as specific as possible with what you child needs help with so we can make the most of our time together. We will spend the first few minutes of class doing a brief assessment to determine the course of our class. My child needs support with: Letters/ sounds cvc words long vowels letter blends/digraphs vowel teams/digraphs advanced phonics (i.e. multisyllabic words, word endings like -tion, -ture, sion, etc.) general decoding skills/reading strategies word chunking Fluent readers: Reading comprehension, reading strategies, vocabulary 🍎🍏🍎After enrollment, please send me a message with the following information: -your child’s strengths as a reader -areas where they need support -what you would like the session to be focused on -likes/interests/hobbies (for example their favorite characters, shows, animals, sports, etc)

Hello! My name is Ms. Tiffany and I reside in the sunny state of Florida. I hold a Masters degree in Reading and a Bachelors in Elementary Education from Florida International University.
I have been teaching children for over twenty years. I spent ten of those years teaching kindergarten, but have also taught first and second grades. I am well versed in what students need to know to be prepared for each grade level. In addition to that, I have worked as a reading teacher for students in grades 3 through 5. My strengths are preparing students to meet the core standards in reading and writing. Also, I have worked as a one-on-one tutor for students ranging from preschool to high school.
I believe in making the learning environment fun and engaging for my students. Each student will feel special and welcomed in my classroom. Students should be challenged and motivated to reach higher expectations.
When I am not teaching, I am writing and publishing books for children and young adults. I have written almost fifty books and am currently working on the next one.
