CLASS BREAKDOWN

If you would like to schedule a recurring class you must do so BY EMAIL REQUEST. My daily schedule experiences frequent changes that might affect set timings for sessions, by organizing appointments via email, I can better accommodate our schedules. If a recurring class is set up without prior approval, I reserve the right to cancel the recurring meetings.

It will be up to the parent(s) and student to communicate the skills that should be focused on within the tutoring session. If information has not been sent at least 48 hours prior to the tutoring session, I reserve the right to cancel the session. Some suggestions for class topics are: 

MATH:
🎯Addition and Subtraction of Math Facts with and without Regrouping
🎯Identifying fact families
🎯Operations with fractions and decimals
🎯Understand the concept of Place Value
🎯Develop Computational Fluency
🎯Area, Perimeter, and Volume
🎯Multiplication and Division Strategies 

PHONICS/READING/WRITING
🎯Reading Fluency and Accuracy
🎯Phonemic Awareness
🎯Reading Comprehension

CLASSROOM STRUCTURE
📚Relationship Building: Introductions and Get to Know You Activity
📚Learning Target Introduction: Discuss the Learning Target and Skills you want to Work on for the day
📚Instruction: I do, We do, You do - I will introduce and model the skill, we will practice together, and finally, the student will practice independently. (This can be adjusted based on the needs of the student.)
📚Reflection: Students will reflect and check for understanding of the skill.
