This private lesson is perfect for learners that are preparing for the SAT and want some additional practice on the Math section. We will work through questions from practice SAT exams. Learners will first be given a chance to solve the problem on his/her own. If the learner struggles, we will walk through the problem step by step so the learner can see how to solve it and get tips and suggestions for the type of question. Learners will complete practice questions from College Board SAT practice tests and each solution will be discussed and explained. My goal is to make test prep accessible and enjoyable for everyone. There will be lots of opportunities for participation and growth!

I am a New York State certified teacher and have been teaching for over 16 years. Over the years I have taught 7 and 8th-grade science, High School Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, and Algebra. I have degrees from Boston College and Fordham University and am currently pursuing a doctoral degree from Stony Brook University.
