Private Phonics Course Bundle: Let's Learn Letters!

Hello! My name is Teacher Courtney. Welcome to my class! This private 1:1 class is designed to introduce young students to all 26 letters of the alphabet in 5 short lessons. The main focus of this class is to promote letter recognition, sequencing letters, and sound pronunciation. I will be using a PowerPoint presentation to teach this lesson. 
 
Weekly Class Schedule
Class 1/Week 1: Letters A-E
Class 2/Week 2: Letters F-J
Class 3/Week 3: Letters K-O
Class 4/Week 4: Letters P-T
Class 5/Week 5: Letters U-Z

Class Structure
We will start each lesson by singing the alphabet song, then we will move through each section. These lessons are divided into 3 sections. In the 1st section, students will identify each letter and practice saying their sounds. Then, students will read words that begin with the corresponding letter sounds such as "apple" for letter A. In the 2nd section, students will practice spelling the words from section 1 with support from Teacher. The last section will be a review of the lesson. Students will match upper/lowercase letters to each other, put letters in order [sequencing], and practice letter recognition and sound pronunciation even further.
