We'll work one-on-one to cover each topic needed to prepare a student for the ELA portion of Independent Schools Entrance Exam.  The ISEE test has two ELA sections – verbal reasoning and reading comprehension.  We will use a combination of the best ISEE test prep materials to work on each of these test sections.  Students will learn tips and strategies for each section and then we will work through practice questions together.  The ISEE doesn't just test what you know, it measures your ability to learn and process new information. So, we will practice fun exercises that focus on improving attention, working memory, and processing skills. Working on these important cognitive skills makes my program different and more effective. Students will work on test prep questions independently as homework and we will review these together in the next meeting.

Week 1 - Verbal reasoning section
Week 2 - Reading comprehension
Week 3 - Essay and specific practice on challenging areas
