In this class the student will learn the fundamentals of playing the flute. Week 1: We will begin with tone production, balance and positioning of the instrument, where to place the fingers, reading a fingering chart. The student must have a properly working flute, a method book, a mirror, and a note book. The student and parent will be notified of any other materials as the need arises.
