This course will provide one on one instruction to be successful in the classroom.  The class is tailored to individual student needs.  Classes will begin with early reading skills.   As student progresses reading skills such as decoding, sight word recognition, and using context clues to find meaning will be developed.  Students will also work on beginning writing.  The teacher will communicate with parents to develop  a successful path for supplementing the school curriculum.  Your child's interests will be incorporated, as children learn best when they are interested in the topic. 
Note: Teacher Catherine does not have a background in special education or speech pathology.
Cancellation Policy:  If teacher is notified less than 24 hours before class time that student will not be in attendance, teacher Catherine will attempt to make up the class, but a make up class is not guaranteed and there will be no refund.
