No worries, because I'm here to provide the perfect support to enhance their early literacy skills. Whether it's reinforcing letter knowledge, taking those first steps into reading words, or even exploring more advanced skills, I've got your back!

Get set for an interactive one-on-one tutoring session that's all about delving into the world of letters, letter sounds, reading and writing words and books, and more. No matter where your learner stands, we're going to have a blast together while making progress in their learning journey.

In our first session, we'll focus on getting to know each other and building a strong connection. It's like making a new friend who's here to help you learn and grow. We'll chat, share stories, play a game and make sure your learner feels super comfortable and excited about our tutoring adventure.

We'll also do a bit of assessment in our first session. Don't worry, it's not a test or anything stressful. It's just a way for me to understand where you're learner is at with reading skills. Think of it like a treasure map – once we know where the treasure is, we can plan the best route to get there! I'll assess every student on identifying letters (capital and lower case) and letter sounds. Depending on how they do with letters, I will then assess students on reading sight words and CVC words. These assessments will help me tailor my future lessons to your learner based on their needs. 

And then, of course, we'll jump into the fun stuff – learning to read and practicing reading strategies, depending on your learners needs! I will provide a weekly update on how your student is doing, what we will be working on, and any worksheets/activities you may need to print. We'll play interactive games, do hands-on activities, and read stories together.
