Students will have an individualized learning experience that cannot be achieved in the group classes. I will communicate frequently with the parents about the anticipated goals of tutoring. We will work hard together to improve reading fluency and comprehension. 

My strength areas are:

-Scaffolding
I will constantly be evaluating your child's level and adjusting our class to meet your child's needs.

-Student Encouragement
I will celebrate wins with your child. I want them to know that I am happy to help them learn and I want them to succeed!

-Phonics
I will teach phonics to your child by practicing letter sounds, blends, and rhymes. 

-Reading
Once I identify your child's reading level, I will have your child read books to me from a series written on their level. I will approach, but not surpass the "frustration level", so as to always encourage their success to the next level, without them feeling overwhelmed or stressed.

-Math
If parents would like for math to be incorporated into the tutoring sessions, I can add some math word problems to our reading.
