Since being a president can be very stressful, having a pet close to them can make the job a little easier. However, these pets are not always what we would expect. Sometimes, these pets are gifts from other countries' leaders or bought while accidentally crossing into someone else's territory. And it's not only the president. Sometimes the First Lady needs to have her pets...
Although this class is about fun and unknown facts about all the president's pet(s), students will learn some fun facts about the White House, Washington D.C., as well.

At the end of each class, I give three optional extra learning assignments. The homework could be anything from writing about the animals we learned about in that class. It could be a poem or short story about the presidents. It may be to design the White House or create a zoo for all the president's animals in Minecraft.
