このクラスで学べること
Children get to sing and do actions with me as I lead them in classic children's songs and rhymes. Your child will hear old favorites and probably some that are new to them as well! Children who are hesitant to sing or do the actions along with me need not worry; they can enjoy listening and watching the other children and me. This is a no-pressure class and no prior skills or knowledge are necessary. For some of the songs and rhymes, I show pictures or use toys and other props. There is sometimes discussion between songs (for the children who want to speak) to help the children feel more comfortable, gain confidence speaking in the class, and get to know each other. For example, if we sing a song about a horse, I may ask the children to say what their favorite animal is. This is a great class for kiddos who are new to online classes! Songs and rhymes that may be included in this class (depending upon time) are: The Wheels on the Bus Sally the Camel 1 Little Blue Fish 5 Speckled Frogs 2 Little Blackbirds Put Your Finger in the Air If You're Happy and You Know it The Itsy Bitsy Spider Where is Thumbkin? The Alphabet Song Here is the Beehive 5 Little Ducks Open, Shut Them Old MacDonald Had a Farm Row Your Boat Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star Over in the Meadow Did you ever see a cow? Wiggly Woo The Mulberry Bush B-I-N-G-O Are You Sleeping? This Old Man Mother Hen and 10 Chicks Hokey Pokey I'm a Little Teapot Mary Had a Little Lamb Johnny Works with One Hammer This class requires a minimum of 2 children enrolled in order for it to not be cancelled. If cancellation occurs, money will be refunded. It helps to spread the word to increase attendance and ensure a class! Thank you for signing your child up! Your child will gain confidence in themselves as they practice online learning through singing and doing actions with fun songs and rhymes. The repetition, rhythm, patterns, and vocabulary they will learn are important tools that help a child's brain development. Your child will get to know other children in a safe, nurturing, and relaxed environment while having fun!

Hello! My name is Amber and I would love to be your child's teacher! In my classroom, your child will have fun learning and making friends in a relaxed setting.
I have a master's degree in education and a bachelor's degree in child development. I also have a TESOL certificate for teaching students of other languages. For the last 25 years I have loved planning and teaching lessons and leading activities for young children in preschools, elementary schools, libraries, churches, and online classrooms.
I am a patient, kind, and encouraging teacher. I have a warm and friendly personality that helps children feel welcome, cared for, and comfortable. I am supportive of my student's efforts and am very positive throughout each class. I will help your child learn and adjust to the class without making them feel pressured to perform. My goal is to put them at ease and help them gain confidence in themselves. I have hundreds of teaching materials, toys, and props that I use with my lessons to make the classes interesting and fun for the children. I am able to keep my students engaged during the classes so they look forward to each new class!
