Hello and welcome to Pre K Pre School! In this 18 week Pre School (Pre K) Part  1 semester class where I teach with passion and fun everything your learner needs to know before starting kindergarten! We will have fun learning the alphabet (highlighting letters Aa-Ll (upper and lower case),  numbers 1-20 and counting by 2's and 5', a variety of colors and shapes, days of the week and months of the year, plus seasons and time (minutes, hours, day & night). All this is done through a variety of mediums including live story time, lively songs (movement and dancing encouraged), educational manipulatives, creative props, colorful slides, crafts and lots of class interaction/discussion (share time, singing, counting, finding objects around the house, vocal repetition, question and answer and more). The teaching is personal, fun and interactive which helps students engage and enjoy learning which encourages retention.  A review and question/answer time plus a good bye wraps things up! In this semester class your learner can expect to have an interactive, fun time learning about the alphabet, single digit numbers, basic colors and shapes, time and the aspects of a calendar. An itinerary is below which shows the daily schedule and subjects that will be covered during the semester. I can't wait to meet your learner in my Preschool/Pre K class real soon!
