Are you looking for a virtual preschool circle time that will give your child an engaging and inclusive learning experience from the comfort of your home? Look no further! In this virtual preschool/kindergarten circle time we will work on math, English, and writing, and allow them choices to feel included in their education. 

In this ongoing class, specially designed for children aged 4 to 6 years old, we will cover a wide range of subjects and concepts to foster their development through fun! 

Our lessons are carefully structured, beginning each class with a review of our monthly calendar, and each week, we will start with a new letter. We'll explore the sound of the letter, how to write it, and some words that begin with it. We'll also uncover the "superpowers" that some letters possess to make learning even more fun. 

This class was developed using the Common Core State Standards as a guide. We will be laying the foundation for reading and writing skills, language development, and understanding printed text. 

Through interactive discussions and engaging activities, your child will grasp these essential skills while having fun. For instance, they'll play a game where they'll find the correct beginning sound by substituting it with another letter. This will reinforce their understanding of phonetics and enhance their language abilities. 

In the Math section, our focus will be on the core concepts, which include counting and cardinality, operations and algebraic thinking, measurement and data, and geometry. 

At the end of each class, we'll form a graph or Venn diagram using our "Question of the Day." This fun exercise encourages critical thinking and adds an element of creativity to our sessions. Questions like "if you could be a giraffe or an elephant, what would you choose?" will spark their imaginations and encourage them to express their unique perspectives.

On the final class of the week, we have a special treat—virtual snack time! This time, not only will we pretend to enjoy delicious treats like cake, pizza, fruits, or candy, but we'll also engage in fun activities like dividing, sorting, subtracting, adding, or graphing the snacks. Your child will learn valuable math concepts while savoring their favorite snacks virtually. We ensure that everyone receives equal portions and that it's an inclusive and enjoyable experience for all.

To ensure active participation, I adopt a class management style of "I do, we do, you do." Through this approach, children become active participants in their own education, building a sense of ownership and responsibility for their learning. I believe in creating a classroom atmosphere that promotes teamwork and fosters a strong sense of accomplishment. Each child will be praised specifically and in detail to boost their confidence and motivation.

Your child's individual assessment from the first class will play an essential role in guiding our upcoming lessons. I will tailor the content to ensure that each child's unique needs and strengths are addressed, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment. Detailed praise will be given for their efforts and accomplishments, building their confidence and encouraging their enthusiasm for learning.
