The class is one of four different classes offered that can be done consectively or out of order. The classes offered in this section of classes--May be taken out of order. 1.Preschool Gymnastics Fun Rainbow (Section 1 Of 4) 2.Preschool Gymnastics Fun Nursery Rhymes (Section 2 Of 4) 3. Preschool Gym & Learn Fairy Tale (3 Of 4) 4. COMING SOON--Barn Yard Animals Students will learn in a live class setting with fun interactive preschool games and songs that are related to gymnastics and preschool learning. The student will interact with the coach by being instructed to do gymnastics body movements, preschool movement songs, and more. Class time is structured with a fun warm-up, playful games that increase gross motor skills, an interactive preschool song, amusing hoop games that incorporate preschool gymnastics skills and more. Topics and curriculum covered in preschool gymnastics: *Coloring pages with gymnastics body shpapes *Skill Sheets *Certificates of accomplishment for achieving gymnastics skills *Front Rolls *Horsey Kick Handstands *Animal Walks *Creative movement songs and much more.........

The class will continue in four week sessions and new skills on floor gymnastics will be taught and the children will continue to build their skill level and receive certificates of achievement until the child progresses to the next gymnastics level.

Risk of injury if students are not performing skills correctly. Parental guidance and assistance may be needed. Please make sure proper safety precautions are taken. For example, make sure student is not performing skills next to furniture and has proper matting required for class.
This is a risky class because the student does not have a coach at home to work with them on proper form and technique and the potential for injury exists. Parent supervision(adult present during the class) and skills may need to be modified according to skill level, skill, and strength of each student.

Supply List: *gymnastics mat or yoga mat *Small Stuffed animal 4-8 inches *bean bag (Can make a bean bag with pinto beans and 2 pieces of fabric--hot glue gun or sew together) *rhythm scarfs (Can use silk dress scarf) *hula hoop (for a small child---usually at the Dollar Tree & 99 Cent Store) Please have gymnast wear proper gymnastics attire: Girls: Leotard and gymnastics shorts or leggings. Hair pulled back and no jewelry. Boys: T-shirt and basketball shorts or sweat pants. Hair pulled back if longer than shoulder length.
