📝 My Philosophy & Values:  

I am a homeschooling mom and a certified math teacher that has a passion for learning. Apart from the love I have for teaching all subjects to my own children, math holds a special place in my heart. 

As a homeschooling mom I understand wanting to give your children the best education possible. Math can be intimidating to a lot of people, so many programs use the drilling  method and that takes the fun out of learning math. Math is a form of art, that is misunderstood. I’ve always shown my students how much you can use math aside from using it to go grocery shopping. If we look at math through the lenses of our beautiful world, we get to enjoy and understand it so much more. My goal is to help students fall in love with math, using nature, cooking, engineering, architecture and other real-world practical situations. I make it me precedent to ensure that my students have fun and engaging lessons. I use many games, and activities to help reinforce the skills they are learning.  I value each and everyone of my students, and want nothing more for them to get one step closer to developing a love for math and learning.

🔵 5 Years of Online Teaching Experience

🔵 Taught: Middle School Math Grades 6-7, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Pre- Calculus, Integrated Mathematics II, Statistics, and Math For College Readiness.  

🔵 Over the last 16 years I have taught many students with disabilities. I have tailored their learning experiences to help them succeed and learn. 

🔵 Homeschooling Mom for 5 years Elementary and Middle School, teaching hands on lessons with three different grade levels at once ❤️!

🎈 Fun Facts: 

I absolutely love and adore my children and husband! We love listening to audiobooks together, going on 4 wheeler/ dirt bike rides, cooking, doing nature studies, unit studies using classic novels and picture books as well as singing and playing instruments.
