US Grade Preschool - Pre-Kindergarten
Beginner Level
This course will meet twice a week in live zoom sessions most weeks of a September to June school year. Students may enroll at any time and should be able to jump right into learning with us. During this preschool class we will follow the structure of calendar, nursery rhymes, class read aloud and a themed activity to match the book of the day. This may be an art project, letter identification, color matching or counting practice. Students will be asked to help during calendar time and will be asked questions during our story times to check for understanding and connections to the text. Participation in these is flexible and based on student comfort. Students will need paper, coloring crayons and scissors. When a child begins this preschool class an adult may need to help the child to mute and unmute during our class activities. Most sessions will have a letter of the day which we will use to practice our handwriting. Students will not need supplies until the second half of each lesson.
