So you want to know why I am the best candidate to teach your student before you make this large financial commitment right? Have no fear and read my background below! I graduated with a B.S.E in Mechanical Engineering (ABET Accredited). I am an EDTPA certified teacher with a MAT in Secondary Education-STEM. Furthermore, I am GACE certified in Secondary Mathematics, Physics, and Engineering Technology Education. I have taught 6th-12th Math, Physics, and Engineering in public schools. All this means that I know Math, Physics, and Engineering pretty well :) My teaching style embodies the words of Ms. Frizzle, "Take chances! Make mistakes! Get Messy!" I encourage my students to embrace mistakes and failure as integral parts of the learning process because we learn more from our mistakes than we do our successes. Students will need a printer for the Pokemon themed templates that I will provide. I will upload the templates on my classroom page. Here is a list of the items that will be needed for the project: -Glue/Glue Sticks -Scissors -Crayons -Colored Pencils -Markers -Pencils
Parents! Scissors and glue will be required for some of the activities in this course! I will go over safety protocol with the students prior to the activities when I go over classroom expectations!
